Lost phone response checklist

3. 3Protect payments and accountsContact your bank and payment providers; review unfamiliar sessions in email and key accounts.
4. 4Keep evidenceKeep the last location and time, serial number and purchase record securely. Erasing cannot be undone.
5. 5Report the factsExplain what happened and ask for a case number and available documents. Separate observations from assumptions.
6. 6Check insurance coverageCheck loss/theft coverage, excess and deadlines with your insurer. Payment is not guaranteed.
